Synopsis:
The family members all have their own ways of coping with the fact that their mentally ill son and brother –although not living at home – is still responsible for their day-to-day routines. When it’s his birthday, they all want to buy him presents and surprise him with a visit. It’s not going to be a party, because the son isn’t doing too well, but for the parents it’s important to keep traditions alive. Their daughter decorates the house for the occasion and waits in anticipation for their arrival. The parents visit the son in the clinic, where they receive bad news. It’s getting worse. They decide to bring him back home.
