{ ABOUT FESTIVAL }
Culture Unplugged Studios is organizing ‘Green Unplugged’, the festival that aspires to explore the nature,
that flows without and within us. The festival intends to contemplate on the environment and the
need to co-create future generation with love and respect for mother earth. It wishes to overlap
the sound of our cry today with that of nature and hopes to collectively perceive a new path.
We invite your conscious films that may help us all wake to our holistic future -
an integral individual and human community thriving in co-existence with nature.With your
co-operation, the festival hopes to bring context to our existence and reveal the evolving divine -
the truth of life, hidden in nature’s dream of tomorrow.
CRITERIA:
1)
Films on : Current climate change; Spiritual significance of perceiving earth as Mother; Latest scientific discoveries;
Environmentally conscious architecture and integral designs; Progressive insights from yesteryear traditions/cultures;
Voices from farmlands and food purveyors; Observation of human consumption pattern; Changing lifestyles;
New/revolutionary ideas on market system/economy; Livelihood, co-existence and integral harmony; Nature as the guide/teacher.

Any form : films of any length (shorts and features)
3)
Film projects which are open to non-exclusive distribution (online/webcast, worldwide).
4)
Films which are in English or suitably subtitled in English (films originally produced in regional languages are welcome).
Multiple submissions are welcome.
5)
Entries for selection are required to be sent in DVD format only. Due to the volume of entries, the festival will not be able to return the submitted DVDs. To facilitate customs procedures, the entry package from overseas should be labeled "Only for cultural purpose, no commercial value."
6)
For festival participation, films must fit the festival theme and criteria.
7)
All films rewarded by the audience are showcased under 'Previous Winners' section of the site. A winning film can be removed upon request after a minimum of two years since the date of winning. As the festival is bound to follow international fund transfer formalities, all requested documents for reward remittance clearance will need to be furnished by all winning films.
