Director: Babak Bahram Beygi | Producer: Ali Monsef Shokri
Focus Years: 2012 | Country: Iran, (IR)
Synopsis:
This is the moving story of a little girl (now 14), who was saved from the merciless streets of Tehran by a fairly poor family who had nothing but love and care to offer to her. Walked through and helped immensely by her compassionate 'new mother,' Khadijeh, Little Zeinab is now all but experiencing what family truly means. What's more, she tries to protect it against potential intruders and any other thing that she considers a threat to her peace, her place in her new family's heart, and the community she has formed.
Acclaimed young director Babak Bahram Beygi's gift as a storyteller helps him handle this delicate story with poise and passion, keeping a thin line between drama, universal family values, and more complicated psychological issues.
