Synopsis:
The second part of the documentary film series of Hot As Hell: A Profile of Dhanbad highlights how Jharia in Dhanbad district is one of the most polluted parts of India, if not the world. Not only has the external environment become highly degraded, those who live and work here have become vulnerable to diseases that are a direct result of air and water pollution. This section goes on to highlight the hazardous conditions under which coal miners work that have resulted in deaths due to accidents caused by negligence and the flouting of rules and regulations.
