The Way of Rivers documents Native-led resistance against uranium mining on Algonquin territory. The Algonquin spiritual leader, the Late Grandfather William Commanda is in a leading role behind the organized protest. This generation has to take care of the environment in accordance with the Algonquin law, founded on spiritual principles, to consider what the environment will be like for the seventh generation from now.
