Synopsis:
In 2009, the SPCA, Auckland, New Zealand ran a campaign to rescue a bear from a bear bile farm in China. The bear became known as Assisi, and this heart-warming and emotional short film (21-minutes) follows his progress in his new home at the Animals Asia Bear Sanctuary in Chengdu, China. A journey of highs and heart-aches, the film features an inside look at the work of the remarkable Jill Robinson, CEO and Founder of Animals Asia, and her dedicated team at the sanctuary.
