Synopsis:
"The Visionary (Tesla)" is the true story of the original mad scientist; an unconventional, surreal, flight of fancy, bringing to mind the stories of 81/2 and A Christmas Carol. In 1917 New York City, a lifetime achievement award is presented to a tortured, once-brilliant inventor named Nikola Tesla - the creator of A/C power generation and the visionary whose life's passion is a giant tower built to hurl wireless electricity across the ocean. As he readies himself in the bathroom, preparing for his big moment, he is forced to face something he cannot escape - the most frightening entity he can imagine - his own troubled mind. He descends into the darkness to confront the demons of his past, as well as the options of his future.
