Synopsis:
The conditions in Iran after the revolution have progressively grown worse in areas of women's rights and civil liberties. Rather than live under these conditions, Mehrangiz Kar, a lawyer, decided to challenge the court and push for reform. She has become an outspoken critic of the government, in the courtroom and through her writings. "Daughters of the Revolution" is about Mehrangiz Kar and what she risked for human rights in Iran, the consequences of political events and the decisions that changed her life.
