Synopsis:
A number of films exist about mentally challenged children, but almost none exist which are concerned with adults and those living in the border land between normal ability and mental handicap. During the years 1997-1998, a course in film and video production was arranged for a group of such adults. After the course was over, we continued on a voluntary basis and produced a new film, this time using professional equipment. The four participants differ greatly in their personalities, but share a generous openness. Thus, the film does not intrude on their integrity. What makes these persons so interesting is indeed their differing personalities. They all have a mental handicap, of which fact they are aware. They all live in their own private accommodations in one form or another, and they all have jobs. Their spare time is full of activities, maybe to the point of being hectic. It is a positive film, where the "Gang of Four" speaks for themselves.
