Synopsis:
"Motion Glory" is the animation of third-person perspective of global dance culture and movement. Implementing ideas of environment, culture, and dance. Edited primarily through after-effects and Photoshop, the 2-D images set in a three dimensional platform allows the audience to experience the power and motion in stillness. Inspired by still photography, still-life paintings, hip hop, b-boy-ism, underground dance culture, and the art of movement/inertia; I wanted to make the kinetic linkage of motion in the body with motion with the camera.
