Synopsis:
In 2006-2007, an initiative was taken by India Vision Foundation and the United Nations, to create a programme in Tihar Prison, the largest prison in South East Asia, to spread the awareness of AIDS and HIV as well as other life threatening illnesses. The documentary takes the viewer into Tihar prison, both male and female ward, and showcases the impact this programme has had on inmates; convicted as well as undertrials and how it has changed their lives. A heart warming tale of how simple initiatives can change mind sets and lives. Directed by Ruzbeh N Bharucha, author of Shadows In Cages, a book and film on mother and child in Indian Prison, this film has been showcased all over the world and one wonders why this initiative has not been carried out in all the prisons, all over the globe.
