Director: Marko Simic | Producer: Jiri Konecny
Focus Years: 2003 | Country: Czech Republic
Synopsis:
Auto-suggestive seance masked as a short film. In addition to a quaranteed feeling of relaxation, the movie offers a look behind the scenes of a television lottery, an interesting probe into the life of a 13-year-old hockey player, and last but not least, it fully explains the principle of lamps used against depression.
While presenting the stories of several contemporary Prague inhabitants (a retired anchorman, a tour guide, a novice writer, a teleshopping actress, a hung-up businessman, and a grandmother living at a retirement home), the film attempts to manipulate you into making up your own mind. It also includes some popular Czech songs and loads of advice about life, the fulfillment of which is entirely up to you. Side effects external to the film reality are excluded. Well, good luck, everybody.
