Synopsis:
After many years, an execution took place in India in 2004 in Kolkata. The strong media focus on the hangman had created the kind of anticipation that attended public executions in medieval Europe. 'ONE DAY FROM A HANGMAN’S LIFE' tries to de-fictionalise the non-fiction by retreating into the dingy cell-like room of the hangman for a whole day before the hanging.
