Subject Tags: art, communication, community, creativity, europe, freedom, germany
Quality Tags: Optimistic, Slow, Activating, Harmonizing
Synopsis:
The film covers the journey of creating "Squareland", the staging of a so-called 'augmented theatre'. We follow the artists from the Kollektiv Artes Mobiles through their rehearsals sessions in a house on the countryside of Berlin, to the play premiere at a well-known theatre festival. The staging is a persiflage on the exchangeability of the individual in consumer society and on the repression and loss of a worker's individuality on the assembly line.
