Synopsis:
Sweet grass. Sage. Golden Rod. Silver Willow. Yarrow. Rose Hips.
This film is about the reclamation and rejuvenation of culture through the practice of plant medicine. Three generations of Anishinabe medicine women work to keep their traditional knowledge alive, and impart it onto the next generation.
This short documentary also explores how the Anishinabe in and around Riding Mountain National Park overcame the expropriation of their land, fought to gain it back, and now how they work with Parks Canada towards reconciliation.
