Synopsis:
Bety, my childhood friend, was sentenced in September 2004 to thirty years of prison, accused of killing her mother. Bety is now twenty-eight years old and is currently serving a prison sentence in the Santa Martha Acatitla, in Mexico City. Through this documentary I try to understand the circumstances that made Bety lose her freedom. What situations interacted and how fate decided the current condition of my friend. Bety and I are part of this story that has changed our lives.
