Focus Years: 2008 | Country: France
Synopsis:
From October 3 to December 14, 2007, more than a hundred badly-housed families camped on the sidewalks of Paris in front of the Stock Exchange. They were fighting for their right to decent housing in a city where speculation and the inadequate supply of social housing inexorably pushes up rents and housing prices. Most of these families are immigrants, people who suffer most from the policies of racism and exclusion developed by the French government. In spite of heavy and repeated repression, the families impose their right to be heard at the end of a long struggle.
