Synopsis:
In December 2008, I began to make a film about my oldest friend, Tom. He had reached rock bottom after living a life in the fast lane, and was giving himself one last chance in life, planning to reinvent himself as a hedge fund salesman just as the global markets were collapsing. But when he suddenly dropped dead after two months of filming, the untold story of his life slowly came to light. His story becomes the story of the recklessness of an entire generation, and the film becomes a personal exploration of the psychology of deregulated Britain, seen through the prism of one man’s struggle to find meaning in his life.
