The documentary shows the last days of a pharmacy that works much like it did at the beginning of the twentieth century, when medicines were handmade and the pharmaceutical industry had not installed a compulsive way of production and medicine consumption yet. The Sarandria Pharmacy has existed for more than 80 years in a popular district of Buenos Aires. The pharmacist is 86 years old, with 60 years of experience and is an example of a pharmacy style that no longer exists. The furniture, the bottles and the aesthetic of the place proved that the pharmacy has paused in the time, nevertheless the wrinkles of the face of Mr. Gregorio prove that time cannot be stopped. Mr. Gregorio and Cristina - his assistant - conserve a style of work and customized attention to their clients while the world follows its accelerated rate. The sound of the cars in the street remembers that the time of the daily life cannot pause to wait for these two old ones. Mr. Gregorio, much like the alchemists of old, is destined to disappear along with his pharmacy and we are witnesses of his final fatigue.
