Synopsis:
Ras Khamis and Ras Shahada are Jerusalem neighborhoods that were cut off from the rest of the city when the Separation Barrier was built in 2002. Since then, these neighborhoods and the tens of thousands of people who live there have been utterly neglected by the Jerusalem municipality. In 2013, the desperate situation in this no-man's-land was even further exacerbated when the municipality announced its intent to demolish the homes of thousands of residents.
