Synopsis:
Myanmar's democratic process is making headlines, but the minorities issue is being largely ignored. One of the oldest guerrilla in the world is led in Northern Burma by the Kachin people, which has been fighting for over sixty years against the central government, to preserve its language, its Christian faith, and its culture. As Myanmar was starting is political opening and democratization process, heavy fighting resumed on the borders of Kachin land, and hundreds of thousands of civilians were forced to move to refugee camps. This documentary is an immersion into a population cut out from the outside world in its struggle to protect its rights.
