Synopsis:
It all started in the summer of 1982 when 200 artists from all over pitched a circus tent at the Arpoador beach, which became an event that shocked the cultural status quo in Brazil. This is the first showing of the material shot by Roberto Berliner at the time. “Ruckus at the Circus” is a trip back to the era of cultural effervescence in Rio, from the foundation of Circo Voador up to the World Cup in Mexico in '86, when many thought that the dream had ended.
