Synopsis:
This film is about Sergei Udaltsov, one of the most controversial and ambitious leaders of the Russian political opposition—and the protest movement "Left Front". It is also about his followers, people at rallies and hunger strikes. The camera stays by his side even when the police start to become violent.. The demonstrations protest the official results of recent presidential and parliamentary elections. The story develops in Moscow in 2012. Over the past year, Sergei Udaltsov spent more than 2 months under arrest. In prison, he declared dry hunger strikes several times in protest against his illegal detention.
