Life looks a little different at 6,000 feet, and food presents a particular challenge in Truckee, Tahoe, and the Sierra. We’re up against quite a lot, considering the harsh climate, cost of living, lack of access and food security, not to mention our tourist-based economy. But these mountainous challenges inspire us to get creative, innovative even, in developing unique, functional solutions.
Elevate Tahoe investigates and spotlights true innovations happening in Tahoe, presenting our findings in a series of short films. Elevate is a partnership comprised of three local companies — Moonshine Ink, SBS Media House, and Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation — that each bring unique skillsets to get the job done.
