Synopsis:
The Flatback turtles of Port Hedland have been returning to the same beach to nest for thousands of years. But in the time they've been coming back, the town has become the heart of the Pilbara iron ore industry and the largest bulk tonnage port in the world. This documentary follows the local community who rallied together, determined to protect their endangered turtles in the face of ongoing threats.
