Synopsis:
In Finnish folklore, there are stories about people or cattle getting lost in the wilderness. They were believed to be covered by the forest spirits. Some could come back but they could never re-adapt to their previous lives. This film is about a man whose deep connection to forest and nature spirits has alienated him from normal life. Already as a child Markku started to perceive different kinds of spirits, elves and fairies. He had very beautiful and harmonious experiences as if he was covered by forest. He has to get back to normal life even if he doesn't want to. As an adult, he has not been able to conform to normal life because of conflicts and lack of acceptance.
