An emergency accommodation centre for homeless people, located in the suburbs of Paris. Here, a dozen men, coming from all walks of life, isolated and left out by society, are spending winter in a small temporary community. I call them "The Hermits". By observing their lifestyle, their humanity and their struggle, one is faced with a puzzling reflection of the outside world: our world. With the return of spring, they all go back to the road and fade away into loneliness.
