Synopsis:
The documentary “Exile - Wherever I Go” is a film about three men living in exile in the northern mountains of Italy. It is a personal portrait about their pasts, wishes and dreams for the future. What they have in common is the wish to stay alive, and present to us their homeland which none of them has ever seen or visited: Tibet. The reasons for their stay in Europe and the prospects for their future may be various, but the sense of belonging and the desire to “turn home” some day to this sort of promised land, is similarly strong for all of them.
