Focus Years: 2006 | Country: Greece
Synopsis:
The small societies of the "Kopatsarei", invisible to the eyes of people, have been resting for centuries at the feet of the Orliakas and Smolikas mountains. Every autumn, the cattle-breeders of the village Dotsiko go down with their flocks from high to low altitudes in order to pass the winter. They follow the mountains' natural passages that their traditional folk wisdom has marked off. The endless road is being opened, tantalizing both for men and animals. A documentary dedicated to the mountain's people who continue to dispense their life between two homes.
