Synopsis:
The film “Ayahuasca†is a journey beyond the limits of human thought and desire, a visual journey of the body and mind into the depths of the Amazon Rainforests and even Antarctica. It is a visual poem that tells the story of a young woman, a writer, who attempts a modern adventure story about life and its extreme experiences. A story reaching into the minds and souls of people, helping them to conceive nature’s beauty and unity, and the importance of protecting these last treasures of Earth. The story she writes is of a windsurfer, who finds his way through the jungle to an Indian tribe, the Tucano indigenous people. Influenced by the drink “Ayahuascaâ€, he encounters another state of being, that enables him to find a natural paradise in the middle of the rainforest, watered by rivers and lakes, guarded by ancient Indian spirits, waters where native ancestors came to Earth.
