Synopsis:
In the 1950s, Nepal nationalized millions of hectares of its forestland. It was a disaster - resulting in decades of mass destruction and degradation. Forced to find a solution, the state finally gave the forests back to the people. In this episode of "Voices of the Forest", communities throughout the country embarked on a massive project to turn the scrubland back into forests.
