Continuing on from the Documentary "3 Chords & the Truth", this film follows Anika Moa as she goes it alone in the music industry.
Anika has never shied away from talking frankly about her unusual and colourful life. She is cheeky, friendly, and irreverent and her frankness often comes off as effortless. But with 'In Bed With Anika Moa', filmmaker Justin Pemberton reveals that behind the scenes, Anika has struggled with who she is, what she wants, and how much of herself to reveal. His film provides an intimate portrait of Anika and a fascinating insight into the reality of the supposedly glamorous music industry. The documentary charts the struggles Anika is faced with in both her personal and professional life as she makes the bold decision to come out as a lesbian, moves to Australia and falls in love with Burlesque performer Azaria Universe.
