Synopsis:
The film tells the compelling story of a man extraordinaire, his mettle, his grit, his incorrigible optimism and the world through his eyes. Satish Gujral. A painter, a sculptor and an architect. Born in Jhelum, Pakistan in the year 1925, an illness fatally impaired his hearing at the tender age of eight. The film traces the progress of his artistic genius and also presents a motivating account of human spirit. It is said that the art of a nation is deeply entwined with the socio-cultural fabric of its being. Along with Gujral’s story, the film touches upon the story of India from partition to now, exploring the immediate social context that gave birth to the ideas behind Gujral’s works and unraveling his artistic thought-process.
