Synopsis:
"Wise person is who can find the light in the darkness and can find the way out at a blind alley" (A Sumerian Saying). This film is about Muazzez İlmiye Çığ, one of the first and finest Sumerologs in Turkey. She is a writer and an activist. She was born during the First World War and was a child when the Turkish Republic was built. Muazzez worked in less known areas for years, namely Sumerian civilization, Turkish archaeology, and Assyriology, until she published her first book and became widely known.
