Synopsis:
Abstract During 2008, under the barrage of Kassam rockets, a clown was wandering around the streets of the city of Shderot. During that year he nurtured special relationships with an Ethiopian kid named Yaa'kov, who because of the encounter with the clown, dreamt to study his art, hoping it will help him to leave the city. The movie escorts the clowns' attempts to teach Yaa'kov to become a street theatre artist, in spite of the antagonism Yaa'kovs' friends developed towards him because of his new hobby, until the street theatre show they crated together. The movie deals with the struggle between laughter and sorrow, the friendship between a kid with a dream and a street theatre artist who was hanging onto hope, and with a man who did not remove his makeup and remained the last one to smile.
