Synopsis:
"This Is My Sister" tells the true story of Jane and her son Alvin, who are both HIV positive. To care for Alvin when he becomes sick, Jane ends up losing her job and eventually all hope. However, Jane has a sister, Martha, a woman with the gift of contagious laughter, who is working hard to fulfill her ambition of opening a hairdresser's salon. The actors who interpret the roles of the protagonists of this African metropolitan story are the true people who lived it: Jane, Martha, and Alvin.
