Synopsis:
Roland was born in Congo, Africa. His mother is a black Congolese, and his father is a white Belgian. In Africa he was considered white by the locals and he was raised in a European community. He considered himself white. At the age of 12 Roland and his family moved to Belgium. He was sure that it would be like going home, but white Belgians saw him as a black boy. It confused him, but he never talked about that to anyone, not even his brother and sister, until the moment that he decided to make a film about his situation. The first step is to overcome his identity crisis.
