Synopsis:
In the small town of Kessounou in Benin, west Africa, a town situated in a lagoon with a very special atmosphere, Edouard lives with his wife Odette and their newborn son, Maxim. It is a poor life, where music and the belief in God play an important role. Through his master, he learns "a perfect African style." He lives for sharing his knowledge with his people and preventing the town from getting the famous mortal illness that lurks around the corner.
