Forced to Flee 2 : Director: IRIN | Genre: Documentary | Produced In: 2008
Synopsis: Tens of millions of people around the world have been forced to flee their homes, but unlike refugees who are protected by international law, they remain within the borders of their own countries. They are the displaced. Some of these people have been driven out by war, others by economic or political forces. Most have been displaced by natural disaster. These two part IRIN film series tell the story of two very different communities of displaced from Philippines and DRC and the terrible challenges they face.
