For Some Friends is a poetic, unusual and witty portrait of the Austrian filmartist Michael Pilz. During the course of one year director Gabriele Hochleitner filmed with Michael Pilz. What came out is a film about everything but filmmaking, about friendship, the beauty of chutney making, the philosophy of a snail, about love and a certain respect for life.
