The Girl Who Looked Into The Mirror: Soul Biographies : Director: Nic Askew |
Genre: Documentary | Produced In: 2009
Synopsis: Relationships have this habit of presenting what could only be described as monumental obstacles. Not always but "sometimes too often". We’ve all faced them at some stage. Some we’ve negotiated but some we just can’t seem to find a way through, over or around. But why? Could it be that most relationships are based on need? A need that is often unspoken. A need to feel significant, a need to feel part of something, a need to feel loved. (Part of a series of twelve short films that capture the experience of being human, and in doing so offers the viewer the opportunity to be moved to tears and laughter, and to move into a deeper experience of themselves.)
