Synopsis:

"Matter" combines semi-transparent layers of video to convey a sense of the true nature of the everyday world. A long walk across a bridge is layered beneath a trail of shining lights, and a pastel drawing that slowly bleeds away. Each layer uses a combination of old-fashioned and modern effects techniques. The interaction of the layers suggests that matter, far from being solid and unchanging, is in fact in a constant state of flux at the quantum/spiritual level.
