Synopsis: Walking a labyrinth is a millennia-old spiritual practice that even the most serious seeker can screw up. At least, that’s the message of Rabbi Rami’s humorous and heart-felt encounter with this simple practice. Unlike mazes which require deliberate choice and carry the risk of dead ends and loosing one’s way, walking a labyrinth is a matter of surrendering oneself to the path, abandoning choice, and allowing the way itself to lead you to the center (God, Self, Spirit, etc.). A lover of labyrinths, Rabbi Rami shares a story of labyrinth walking where surrender just never happened. With dozens of admiring students gathered to watch “the master” walk mindfully to the center, Rabbi Rami became self-conscious and confused, and, tripping over his own ego, becomes incapable of finding the center he so desperately wanted to reach.
