Quantum Physics & Self: Introducing a Psychology of Matter : Director: Dimitri Halley | Genre: Documentary | Produced In: 2009
Synopsis: The film represents how when we observe the world, we fall under the illusion of separateness to the world. This "desert of illusions" (in Buddhism) is explained, and the film details how we can take off this "pair of glasses" which cuts us off from this deeper healing oneness. While science has set out to prove the existence of this deeper reality as something external, the purpose here is to aid or have a first-hand experience with this deeper reality as Self - not to research whether or not it exists "out there". When all sciences and traditions speak to this deeper spiritual nature of reality and the body, here an approach is being taken. The twist presented is that we need this illusion to become self-aware, which is also presented as the step back to entering this wholeness at the deepest layers of Self. So, there is great purpose in this fall from original oneness.
