Synopsis: Pastor Kim is taken prisoner by Russian Communists in North Korea. When condemned to die in a box, will he keep his faith? Pastor Kim Yoon Chan endured harsh and religious persecution during the Communist occupation of Korea in the 1940s. Refusing to renounce his beliefs, the atheist Russian League captured him. Charged with crimes against the state, he was held inside a 2'x2' wide, 6' tall cell for a month with no food or water. Miraculously, he survived. "29" is a narrative film project written with strict attention given to historical accuracy.
