Synopsis:
Gressholmen is an island near Oslo. It is a peculiar little universe and a favorite place for nudists and rabbits. In a small hut sits Jan, one of Norway's greatest idealists. This eccentric man takes care of the rabbits, each and every day, all year, including holidays, regardless of the weather. Not even a woman who uses creative methods to arouse his interest distracts him. To protect the animals, he often shoos away the people. Jan, a philosopher and a misanthrope, who is an absolute volunteer loner, explains his views and reluctance to the human kind, over whom he puts his beloved rabbits. For nine years, Jan looked after these rabbits. Today, the rabbits on Gressholmen are history.
