“At best, man is the noblest of all animals, separated by justice he is the worst†(-Aristotle). What happens when a new law is enforced that ruins the lives of a generation of shepherds? Italian film-maker, Achille D’Onofrio’s poignant award-winning documentary graphically looks at the consequences of an order to euthanize an entire herd of sheep based on public fear over investigation and research.
