I have written, directed, and produced documentary films internationally since the mid 1980s. I make political films that side with the dispossessed, unrepresented, and the "other". The Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Jewish and modern Israeli history, and inspiring individuals are the subject matters of my films. Some of them proved to be a thorn in the collective Israeli establishment's backside. People consider a number of my films to be subversive; I see it as a compliment.
