Synopsis:
This short musical film is the result of years of timelapse filming in the north eastern Alps. The most famous groups of mountains of the Friulian Alps and Trentino Alto Adige Dolomites, provide the background for a work in which the images and the music of Felix Mendelssohn, taken from his Ouverture The Hebrides, create a solemn symphony. The appearance, development and disappearance of the clouds, that mutate from fluctuating and irregular to calm or to tumultuous, trace grandiose, spectacular images in the sky.
