Hello,

I am so honored to be a part of this wonderful festival. I am a writer/director. 'Point Blank' is the first short film that I have written, produced and directed. My passion is to use my writing skills, especially my passion for writing comedy, to offer films and books that will offer something of value to the world. I am seeking to connect with producers looking for original screenplays. Currently I have an animated feature screenplay that won an award in Hollywood. It is more in the genre of a film like Shrek that would appeal to adults as well as children as it has a strong story and is both funny and poignant. I also have a romantic comedy screenplay for a feature, set mostly in Iowa but also in Paris, France. You can view my first children's book at lulu.com. It is called 'An Element of Fun' and I am seeking a publisher for this. It has also been developed into a television series with one completed episode and five future storylines. I am looking forward to watching many of the wonderful films uploaded on this site and I hope to connect with some like minded people. Let's hope that these films will help to lift the awareness on our glorious planet to more love and light, Maggie

It is my sincere wish that one day all religions will accept each other and realize that they are all simply different expressions of the one truth. It was with this in mind that I made the film 'Point Blank'.

For many years I also campaigned to bring an awareness of the potential hazards of the genetic manipulation of foods. Thousands of scientists have warned of the dangers of this new technology. Unfortunately despite their warnings, our foods are continuing to be genetically manipulated. There have been cases of deaths and serious disabilities from people who have eaten these GM foods. Laboratory tests have also indicated potential dangers and there have been serious environmental impacts where the GM crops have spread and infected organic crops growing nearby.

I am passionate about protecting animals from abuse, keeping our whales and dolphins safe from those who wish to kill them, and saving the rainforests.
